[ENG] When I started reading this book, I didn't think I would love it as much as I did. See, when they told me it was about a hockey player set in a small town (the perfect combination), I just had to read it right away and well, it exceeded all my expectations.

Chord and Violet captivated me, their relationship began slowly. She, as his new assistant, had to travel to his family's estate to do her job, all while he reconciled with his family after being away due to his career. But, of course, things don't always go as planned, and feelings, oh, the feelings! inevitably come into play. These two were like a small flame that grew stronger, not only romantically but also individually. Their character development was so beautiful that I just wanted to keep reading. Surprisingly, the ending was my favorite part, you witness how they've grown as a couple, understanding what's best for them and, oh my, the tears! Every scene, every word exchanged between them. Chord's desire to fulfill all of Violet's dreams made me think, "I wish I had someone like that"

Overall, this story was good. The family, despite their initial problems, reached an understanding. There wasn't a major drama, it was light-hearted and, yes, quite funny.

[ESP] Cuando empecé a leer este libro no pensé que me iba a gustar tanto como me gusto, a ver que cuando me dicen que el es un jugador de hockey y de paso está ambientando en un pueblo pequeño (la combinación perfecta) tenía que leerlo pero ya y bueno, superó cada una de mis expectativas.

Chord y Violet me encantaron, su relación empezó lentamente. Ella siendo su nueva asistente tiene que viajar hasta la finca de la familia de él para hacer su trabajo, todo mientras él hace las paces con su familia luego de estar alejado de ellos por su carrera pero oh no todo es como se espera y obvio que tienen que haber sentimientos y que sentimientos!! Estos dos fueron como una pequeña flama que agarra fuerzas, y no solo románticamente si no individualmente, los dos tuvieron un desarrollo de personaje tan hermoso que solo quería seguir leyéndolos. La parte final aunque no lo crean fue la que mas me gusto porque ves cómo crecieron como pareja y saben lo que es mejor para ellos y dios mío lo que llore, cada escena de este libro, cada palabra entre ellos, como Chord quería cumplir todos los sueños de Violet y yo solo pensaba “ojala tener a alguien así”

En general esta historia fue buena, la familia aunque al principio tenían sus problemas llegaron a un acuerdo y me gusto, no hay un gran drama, fue super ligera y si, también divertida.
